Chocolate Chip Cookies
 

This recipe my mom makes all the time, she got from her cousin Lisa Lindsay, who was her roommate in college.

Ingredients:
2 eggs 1 cup Brown sugar
1 tsp. salt 1 cup Shortening
½ cup sugar 1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla Chocolate chips
2 ½ cups flour 2 ½ cups flour

Cream together shortening, eggs, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Then add flour, soda, and salt, mix well. Stir in chips. Drop by teaspoon full on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8-9 minutes.



Snickerdoodles
These are Nicole's very favorite cookies
(but she loves lots of cookies)
 

Ingredients:
2 eggs 1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt ½ cup shortening
½ cup butter 1 ½ cups sugar
2 ¾ cups flour
¾ cup flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, blend well. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Cream well. Roll the dough into balls then roll in cinnamon and sugar. Bake for 8 minutes at 350°.



Skippy Peanut Butter Cookies
 

Ingredients:
2 eggs 1 cup peanut butter
1 cup butter 1 tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt 1 cup brown sugar
2 cups oats 1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup sugar 1 ¼ cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla

In large bowl beat together butter and peanut butter till smooth. Add sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Blend till smooth. Add flour, powder, soda, and salt. Mix till blended. Then stir in oats. (We like to add a handful of peanut butter chips too!) Drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes.



Brownies in a Jar
 

Ingredients:
3 eggs ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
½ tsp salt ½ cup brown sugar
½ cup cocoa ½ cup melted butter
½ tsp vanilla 1 ¼ cups flour
1 ½ cup sugar ½ cup walnuts (optional)

Wisk together in bowl flour, salt, cocoa, sugars, walnuts and chips. Stir in butter, eggs and vanilla. Spread into 8x11 inch pan. (You can use a 9x9 pan for thicker brownies). Bake at 350° for 35 minutes – till knife comes out clean.
